What kind of "decoding" are you looking for? Before 72 there wasnt really that much info imbedded in the vin. 72 on included the engine option.
The NCRS Wisconsin chapter has a birthday calculator (does not work for 69 - 73) that is kind of neat. :cool:

hey guys that vettefinder .com page is awesome. u helped me totally disect my vin# on 79. thanx for the help i really appreciated that. btw/ i am newbie here first post, so if i make stupid questions/comments excuse em plz.
