What is the best Ignition SYSTEM for Performance?

I am missing one or 2.

(don't include pheonix, etc)

Will you all tell reasons of why you chose what you chose?

I have a Jacob's, and it works AWESOME, but I wanted to check to see what other C3 results are.

Sure, you'll never need the extra whatever of an MSD6A or Jacobs Ladder or whatever with a stock 82 or anything close. DUI adds extra volts, dynamod, quality parts, etc. without all the extraneous stuff that is just $ down the old pea hole (spelled pea that way because pee might get changed - let's see)

I put MSD system in my 1966 , 427 & worked for me , pro billet dist with vacum advance & mechamnical tach drive as well as 6200 box & msd coil.....i drained fuel system & put on new fuel line ....11 months later, after rebuilding suspension put a couple of gallons in tank & she started right up...... :yesnod: no bull idles smooth & excellant results :cheers:

I cant remember where but I read a very detailed article about different ignition systems. In the article they had a motor on a dyno and and did tests with 4 0r 5 different brands and none could out perform the stock HEI ignition system. Sure some had more bells and whistles but in the end they could not produce any more HP or torque.

Interestingly Jacobs own book discusses this and for most applications recommends the stock HEI system but only for GM's.

You have to have a crank trigger two coils a Crane h6R multispark with two stage rev limiter with Taylor 10+ mm race wires to the platinum plugs of your choice.

Just don't get your fingers anywhere near the system when it's running. Because it will knock your D:ck in the dirt I know! LOL
