Default Nose Lift

Can anyone tell me what they used in 1981 to bond the fiber-glass body parts to the metal support pieces. The front edge of the front end closest to where the hood begins is lifting up and away from the metal nose mount support piece. Can I use regular fiber glass adhesive resin?

The factory used various products through the years. But dont worry about what they used, it obviously is not holding now. Clean it up under there as best you can and use a good epoxy or urethane based compound.

Thanks for your help I'll check them out. A couple of guys have told me to use regular fiberglass resin, but I don't thing the bonding properties in resin are strong enough. Thanks Tim

The resin isn't designed for metal to glass bonding. I learned this the hard way on the bottom of my boat.
