Invention to help find compression stroke on #1 cylinder
I was trying to find the compression stroke on #1 cylinder by myself. I couldn't turn the crank and keep my thumb over the spark plug hole at the same time so I made this - it is simply a balloon attached to a threaded tube from the plumbing section at Home Depot. Just screw it in then turn the key a little at a time until the balloon inflates then turn the crank with a wrench to 0 degrees to insert your distributor.
So who can help me with the patent or buy the rights?

I can, I use my left index finger to put over the plug hole and with the window down I reach inside and turn the key to bump the engine. I have long arms and fingers. I had to do it this way because this past April I burnt up my remote starter.

Good idea and sounds like it works. I am going to have to use this one.

Great Idea! Sometimes the simple ones are the best.
