Default Fuel line strainer (sock).

Can anyone tell me how to remove the strainer on the end of my fuel line on my sending unit? Do they press on or are they threaded?

Thanks

The one on my '73 was pressed/slid over the tube. It is an extremely tight fit so be very careful when installing or removing to not damage the feed tube.

They press on and have little barbs that hold then in place. I used a small flat head screw driver to wedge it of my 82 sending unit. Take your time and do not get to forcefull with it.
