New to the forum and just moved to the Central Florida area. Looking for a dependable mechanic for my '72 Vette. I'm in Lake Wales, so Sebring, Bartow, Lakeland would be great. Orlando & Tampa would be secondary locations (one hour plus away). Thanks everybody for your help!

Welcome to the forum and Central FL...Being in Lake Wales...there has to be a local guy that can help out on baisc stuff. I have learned to do most of my own. Or send it out for rebuild...like short blocks, heads, trailing arms etc. Best of luck Mark

I highly doubt that you'll find people specialized in Vettes around that local area. (Lakeland, Bartow etc.).. There are plenty of great Corvette mechanics/shops around Tampa.. Van Steel for brakes/suspension etc.., RevExtreme for performance. Another great mechanic is Vern Carmack (Chevy Service Center).. Plenty of options in the Tampa area!
