If any of you don't have a PayPal account I'm pretty flexible. You can send a money order, personal check or whatever is easy for you. Just make sure that the tool is on its way to you before you pay.

Either PM me or e-mail me at bythepool@verizon.net to let me know what is easiest for you.

I'll cover the first $8.10 shipping cost. After that each user will have to pay the same amount to send it to the next user provided it stays in the same USPS Flat Rate box I'm, sending it out in. This is the cheapest way to move it around the country.

Good luck,
Greg

OK,
Tool is on its way to Gordon (user name Gordonm) in New Jersey. Whoever needs it next should PM Gordon and make arrangments with him. I guess this will have to be a first come, first served sort of deal so make sure you post.

Best,
Greg

Default Tja ???

Greg,
Great write up, I am sure that tool would be useful Down Under. My '74 is a bit bent in that very area. Can you please advise me of contact details for TJA Tooling? I could probably build one but it would be a bit like reinventing the wheel, but not as well. All the R&D appears to have been done already.

TIA and

Regards from Down Under

Hi aussiejohn,
I just spoke with tallguy222 in New Zealand. I don't have a problem sending the tool out of the country if it works for you. Shipping may be higher but you can save the cost of the tool. If this doesn't work for you I'd be happy to put you in touch with TJA Tooling.
Best,
Greg

I am going to give up my spot to the next person. Shipping in and out of Canada plus the tool rental is almost half of what it would cost to buy it! I am going to try and get a few of us together in Canada to buy our own tool. Thanks anyways!

I'm also curious as to what "dent" and function this tool performs.
None of the pics are coming through.
I'm in jersey with Gordonm and if I have this so-called dent I'd like to use it while its in the state.
Greg -Anyway to get the pics working again?

It's the dent on your front crossmember where people have put jacks and such and caved it in

Does it affect alignment?
Aside from cosmetic is there any other reason to fix it?
Does it weaken the crossmemeber structurally?

Pretty much just cosmetic unless it is severly damaged. The tool worked very well for me. I sent it on its way out west if I remember a few weeks ago. I don't know where it is today???

Who has the tool right now? I am looking to use it as well. I would rather rent it than pay Zip $149 for a one-time tool:

Does the zip tool work or does it need modification as described previously? I too would prefer to rent the tool in this thread, instead of buying one that might work. I don't know if the owner knows where it is at, I have asked before. Ron B.
