Default Bubba strikes again!!! Post Your Radiator Pics!

Alright I ordered a new radiator hose to the replace the ugly generic hose that the previous owner installed. Well the correct hose doesn't fit. After a little research I found out that my radiator is not correct.

I am trying to find out what radiator I have so I can get the correct upper hose. Post your pics of your radiator and upper hose so I can get a hose!!!!

Help me make my engine bay look good. Lets see them!

The upper hose should exit straight out of the tank from the upper rear of the drivers side tank and the neck should be abour 2 1/2 - 3" long

this is what my radiator should look like.

It looks nothing like this. My expansion tank has been removed and it has a fill cap.

My goal is to seel what other year corvettes have a radiator like the one I have and to get a hose for that year.

Corey, your '70 may have come from GM without an expansion tank. My '70 350 A/C and 4sp. has a radiator will a filler cap.....

here's the way the original radiator on my '68 small block looked like..

My car is a small block but that radiator is the same type that came in big block cars... Don't know if anybody changed it

Anyways.. that radiator is gone.. Went with a universal Griffin and a HV water pump and my car is now running 175 - 190 degrees, even on a hot day in stop and go traffic...
