L88 hood to manifold distance

Default L88 hood to manifold distance
I have a L88 for my 79. Does anyone know what the distance is from front of the engine, the flange where the manifold sits on to the underside of the L88 hood ? Its kind of difficult to measure

The L-88 hi rise hood is only 7/8" higher than the 76-79 med. rise hood.

Sorry can't help with an L-88 hood but distance on a stock BB front lifter valley wall to underside of hood is 8.6 inches. I have the underhood clearances "mocked up" if you meed any more dimensions.
