block and intake #'s..found them...what are they??
the # on the block by the firewall is: 14015445
there is also a G 2P and cfd. on the pass side there is a 299
the intake is aluminum and has 3933163 GM
can any one tell me about them????

block is a 78-90 454 either 2 or 4 bolt, man. is a 68-69 396,or 427 CO PO :chevy

The block no. 14015445 is from a 75-87 Truck Light Duty and is a 454 CI.
according to "Car & Parts Catalog of Chevy V-8 Casting Numbers 1955-1993 and stamped numbers". It is from a pickup I believe.My 68 L36 Vette has this block in it.I have never determined if it is 2 or 4 bolt but I would guess it is 2 bolt. Only way to know for sure is to remove the oil pan and look.
