77 Courtesy Timer
Quick question for those in the know. Is a courtesy light timer standard equip or an option in 77?? Or did the previous owner install. Mine stays on for over 5 minutes sometimes, and I can't locate original one from vendors. Thanks in advance

I used the GM Chevy Motor Division 77 sales brochure which states:
"Convenience package. Includes momentary stay-lit feature for dome and courtesy lights, visor mirror, "headlights on" buzzer, low fuel indicator and engine compartment light."
Have all.

Maybe GM wanted to just fill the page on my report. but on the list of options C49 is # 2 C94 is #3 D34 #5 T63 #16 U 26 #17 ZX2 # 20 Mind you " AGAIN " My 77 was a early build #880 maybe they were options you had to order when they first came out. They also sent a list of "could of had options " Seems funny they would list them seperately but hey I got them :) And I got option W84 :):):) I looked at my 76 report and they are not listed seperate so who knows. Your brochere is probably correct, just nobody told the assembly workers they were all part of the Group:) :)
