This is a 3 wire CS144, 150 amp, NEW, and from a seller I have used before. I have had no problems.

I can help you out with that too if you like. If he won't work with you directly, I can contact him, and purchase it for you, and have him ship to you.

I don't believe they do, but I may have someone you can contact for one. I got my chrome CS130 cases for $20 a side, two sides per alternator, and $15 for a chrome pulley.

Default I got my CS-144 at the junkyard for 22 bucks....

cost me more for the electrical adapter and the belt....

I got the 150 amp unit....goofy one with a third ear; I only bought it to see if I could make it fit...and then it turns out to be in great shape...I lopped off the 3rd ear.
ac delco part number 321-1144...
you can here to see the image:
http://198.208.187.182/internet/Vehi...2457&autosel=A

according to the napa website it's a 150 amp alternator.

The CS144 case is bigger. You maybe have mounting issues if you're set up special brackets for an SI alternator.

Okay your upper adjustable bracket may still work just fine, but don't be surprised if you need to move it's lower bolt location. Being that it's adjustable is a big plus for you.

Matt, he has the upper tension arm in the cylinder head, it should be fine. It's the stock location on the water pump that causes trouble.

Speaking of alternators and belts, I still need to look at your selection of the steel reinforcement brackets for the serpentine setup.

Sure man, maybe you can swing by later today and see if I have something that will work for you.

I bought from those guys on eBay (Quality1..) and my new CS144 alternator is working just fine. They can do polished or chrome (I got polished)...just be sure you tell them to NOT machine out the threads in the casing for the metric size bolt!!! I got around this problem using an even bigger bolt and nut combo but it would have been much easier just tightening a bolt.
