Default 1972 454 intake manifold (aluminum?)

Is there any aluminum intake available for an oval port head on a 1972 bigblock? I know I have heard of a 427/390hp Q-Jet manifold, but is that for square port heads?

Edelbrock Torker II is for Oval port, square bore carbs & fits under the hood.
L-88 hood is needed for the taller BB intakes.

Default Height

Thanks,

After looking up the numbers provided for '68 and '69 427/390 aluminum Q-Jet intakes I found a post where it was stated the aluminum manifold carb. pad is 1/4" higher than the low-rise iron manifold used on the LS5 454.

Is this true? Will it cause a fitment problem?

Not if you have about a half inch of clearance to the air intake 'stuff'.
