what do you use to dye a seat belt anyone?????

Vinyl dye...same as for other plastic parts. People have tried fabric dye (RIT, for example) with mixed results. Seat belt webbing is nylon--plastic. Vinyl dye for plastics is the way to go...simple and permanent.

7t1vette is right, I tried the RIT with bad results but I was going from grey to red. I ended up with pinks belts after 3 dyings with RIT. Used the dye from Corvette America I got for the dash. They're red now!

Thanks! I was hoping someone would have an answer. I have the Corvette America interior dye but was afraid to try it on the seatbelts. I'm just trying to bring mine back to the same color not change it.

i used RIT on my 442 going from gold to black and the results were great
