That's a good paper.

Here's one I came up with to show people doing CS alternator swaps.

I'm doing same on my '68 Camaro. I've been through 5 various types of cheap rebuilt alternators over a period of 15 years and probably only 30,000 miles. I'm counting on this one being reliable and effective. I like how the case is a little smaller and looking forward to the added amps.

In the middle of? Heck it only takes about an hour including splicing on the CS pigtail and changing the pulley.

That is true; it would only take an hour, but I’m moving to an electric water pump, thus the new alternator; I have electric fans. I am also looking at moving the alternator to the other side, opposite the PS pump (no A/C). I need to do some fabrication for a new bracket, and I had auto-x last weekend.
