so now I just need to know what is the best and safe way to clean the top part of the block with out damaging anything internal . can I use a degreaser and then change the oil of cores ? and by the way I bet that dish washer look really good after the intake lol. I'm going to try the eagle 1 on my LT1 intake after I pressure wash it first. and did you just spray and rinse or use a wire brush or any thing ?

Just thought I'd throw this out there; never use anything that contains ammonia to clean aluminum. it will turn black.
