surprise! my new project doesn't have ANY parking brake mechanism. didn't see this until i removed the rotors. does anyone have pics of how these are assembled? i always find pics are better than diagrams in the aim.

Of all the mechanical work I have done on Corvettes over the many years, doing the emergency brakes on 65-82 Vettes is the hardest by far if you don't remove the trailing arm for a rebuild.

There are online Corvette sites that offer good help and instructions. If you do them on the car, remember to use dental floss - you will thank me for the suggestion. Also it will help to have long needle nose pliers. Don't plan to see your family for a few days either.

By the way, I have two parking brake kits that I won't be using (I hope). If you are interested in buying a set, let me know and you can have a set for half of what the catalogs are selling them for plus shipping.
