Default difference zz4/hot cam springs

Does anyone know the difference between the zz4 stock valve springs and the lt4 hot cam kit valve springs
I am trying to find out if there is any difference between these 2 springs before I install my lt4 hot cam kit in my zz4
If the zz4 already comes with hot cam springs stock then I will not need to change the springs

thanks

The Hot Cam kit uses spring 12551483, which in the 2008 GMPP catalog is listed as the spring used in "1996 LT4 Corvette, ZZ4, CT350/400 and ZZ383 engines."

Yup, same springs. However, if ya got a lota miles on your ZZ4, you may want to change them out. All springs weaken over time, and it ain't too hard to do with the head still on the car. Also you could change out the valve stem seals at the same time for insurance, but they are expensive.

I had this same dilemma, and decided to change them, (and the seals), 'cause the springs came with the kit.
