non-a/c vaccum hose diagram
i can't follow the aim diagram to route the heater vaccum hoses in my 72.
the one that goes thru the firewall is easy, but the other three look like a pile of worms to my 62 year old eyes. the aim has a nice diagram for a/c cars, but not non a/c cars.
anyone have a color diagram, or a clearer chart?

Hi Jeff,
64 year old eyes here.
I'm looking at AIM, UPC 1, Sheet M 3., and at the CHASSIS SERVICE MANUAL.
There are 4 connections... #3 De-Ice, Red Stripe; #4 O.S.A., Black Stripe; #5 De-fog, Blue Stripe; #6 Supply, Black.
#3 and #5 go to the defroster door valve on the END of the heater box. #3 goes to the nipple away from the box and #5 on the nipple closest to the box.
#4 goes on the on the air door valve on TOP of the heater box. Only 1 nipple on this valve.
# 6 Supply goes THROUGH the firewall as you said
The hose locations on the controller are (think clock) #3 at 4, #4 at 5, #5 at 7 ,#6 at 8.
#'s 1,2,7,8,9. are sealed.
