Default edelbrock l83

Has anyone out there modified an l83 with the edelbrock heads, cam, intake and carburetor set up? I called and spoke to their tech service and told them what i have and what I want out of the engine and that's what they recommend. The parts aren't avaoilable as a package, but are available ala carte however, quite expensive. just wan't some feedback before emptying the wallet searching for performance and torque! Any feedback would be appreciated.

I don't know the HP/TQ figures, but here is a story about a few simple mods made to my '82 that now runs low 14s @ 95+ MPH

besides, who wants to show-off stuff printed from a dyno when you can walk-around with ET-slips in your pockets?
