1970 LT1 Intake manifold
Would there be any performance difference between the stock 1970 LT1 intake manifold vs using an Edelbrock performer intake manifold?

It is supposed to be very close to the Performer RPM (which I have). I know the big difference is that it is worth twice as much... Both are nice manifolds.

I don't know the difference in performance between the two, but the Edelbrock will look nicer compared to the painted look of the oe intake, but there's no question as to which has more value...the LT-1 intake.

I dyno tested a Edelbrock Performer RPM (not Air-Gap but STD RPM) and DID NOT get the 19HP increase Edelbrock claimed over the factory Hi-rise, we observed less than 6HP advantage for Edelbrock. Since the factory intake looks so much COOLER, I left factory intake on motor. I guess you can't believe evrything you read in advertising. I would figure a Air-Gap RPM would be worth 12-15HP because of cut down plenum divider compared to std RPM intake. If you talking about a "Performer" intake, the LT-1 WILL MAKE MORE POWER than a std Performer.
