HEI distributor spring and vacuum advance unit setup question
What is the correct Mr Gasket HEI spring and weight kit needed to re curve my distributor and vacuum advance unit to wake up my vehicle a little. My vette is a 79.

IIRC, there is only one kit that contains 3 sets of springs and alternate weights - when I bought mine last year.
Toss the weights but use the springs. Which set works best for your dist/engine will depending on its age and condition. You'll have to try different variations based on timing light and test driving lights.
The timing sticky at the top has some great info.
