Default C4 suspension C3

are there any companies that make kits for a C4 suspensions and C3 chassis?

Every one I've seen has been a custom frame with the necessary bracket additions to bolt the C4 suspension onto that frame. There are a few street rod companies that make crossmembers and brackets to put that suspension on old frames. You might look into that option. Remember to consider if you want the C3 or the C4 suspension trackwidth. This affects your wheel options.
I ended up building my own setup (spare frame and a LOT of cutting and welding).

I don't remember the company names that supply them at the moment, but you'll probably be able to find them in a street rod magazine, or do a google search.
Fifteen years ago I did a street rod with a C4 suspension. I bought a front crossmember from Fatman Products. I haven't seen him advertising the crossmember lately, so I'm assuming it wasn't a big volume item for him.
As I mentioned in the previous post, ask questions about the suspension trackwidth of any setup you buy. Most of the ones you buy are the stock C4 width (requiring the homely C4 type wheels). I narrowed all the components in my '69 to get the C3 trackwidth, so I can use stock C3 wheels.

Hey Mike, how close are you to finishing up your frame? What did you use for a front rack since you narrowed the track up? Hows about posting a few new pics and an update on your progress?

http://www.newmancarcreations.com/

and

http://www.sriiimotorsports.com/

both will do conversions for you if you can't do it yourself. I chose to use a chassis from SRIII with C4 suspension and toss the stock chassis. Depends on what you want to accomplish and how much you want to spend to get there. You can buy a complete rolling C4 suspension SRIII chassis for about 13-14k but need to make a couple of body mods to make it fit.

Hey Mike! Long time no hear. Hope you're doing well. Yeah, I finally got the thing "done" a month or two ago. Managed to get it out on the track a few weeks ago. Darn thing handled pretty well for the first time I tried to push it hard. The rear suspension didn't have that classic C3 "twitchiness" anymore, where it wanted to do a snap oversteer any moment. Right now I'm just doing some minor tweaks (front bar size change and some alignment changes). All in all I'm pretty happy with it.
I had a custom rack made by Unisteer. I gave them the dimensions, and they built a nice looking rack. Looks like a stock C4 unit, but narrower.
I posted some pictures a few months ago, but all I heard was crickets. Doesn't seem to be much interest in the forum on these types of projects. PM me with your e-mail address, and I'll send some pictures.
