Default Courtesy Lights + Cigar Lighter

My courtesy lights and cigar lighter no longer work. I used a test light on the two floor courtesy lights and found out the ground and power wire are getting power. Is it possible that the timer is out? Eckler's said the courtesy timer is behind the glovebox. I took out the glovebox and didn't see the orange timer anywhere. Any advice?

Here's a 78' diagram and should be same as your 79'. The timer is inthe IP harness above the Speedo and Tach.

I know on my 79' it's above the glove box. It's tucked way up underneath. I actually had to take the dash out to find it initially. I would also check all other connections on that circut. I had problems (lights wouldn't turn off) and ended up being the fuseable link to my stereo (aftermarket). I basically had to touch every wire and connection under the center console and behind the dash.
