New Transmission for '77
When I purchased this corvette it had original numbers all the way through except in the '90s the previous owners deemed it necessary to pull out the original transmission and have a racing transmission installed. Now I am searching for either an original Turbo-Hydramatic 350 Transmission from a 1977 'vette or a new one transmission. Any ideas in where to begin my search for old transmissions? And if not, where is the best place to find a new one that will most resemble what was installed way back in 1977?

Define "racing" transmission. I'm willing to bet it's a hopped up TH350 which could be okay for your car. Depending on what's installed, have the tranny rebuilt to factory specs. You may not need much more than a valve body and a torque converter.
You could also sell/swap what you have for a stock unit.

'77 transmission
Thanks for the help guys. The biggest problem i have with this current transmission is it spins the tires whenever i shift it into gear (even reverse) which causes them to squeal on black top. That's why I'm looking for a replacement or if possible a fix so it doesnt do that anymore.
