Holley VS Demon VS Edelbrock.
I'm going to be putting my motor back together soon, and I just wanted to see what people had to say about these carbs performance and MPG wise. I have a Holley 4160 right now(600cfm) and some people say you get more power with a Holley, some say so w/ edelbrocks. Is the Demon carbs the world between??

My car is NOT a daily driver but if the gas milage is much worse with the Holley that I am taking a break from installing currently than it was with the Quadrajet I'll have to do my cruising around the gas station!
I got about 9 MPG with the Q-Jet.

Are you saying it's worse with the Holley, even more so then the Q-jet??

I vote for the Demon. I just put the 625 road demon in my car and it rocks! It only cost 299.50 from Summit. It comes with an electric choke and fuel line.

I have 2 Properly set up 850 double pumpers on my blown 460 and get 12mpg around town. I can do this consistantly. My plugs look white but last for years.

I forgot to vote for one. I would chose the Demon because of the adjustable air bleeds. The holley is my next chioce because I really know them. I know nothing about Edelbrock

I put an Edelbrock on my car and hated it. I replaced it with a rebuilt Q-Jet. Hey, you wanna buy an Edelbrock...? :lol:
