Default Ordering Wilwood Master Cylinder, keep booster or go manual?

Finishing up one the LS2 swap and need a new MC. Car is originally power but want to clean up space under the good and thinking about switching to manual. I'm thinking with all the weight savings the front end I don't need a booster.

What do you think?

The effort of pushing the brake pedal has nothing to do with how much weight is on the nose.

If you'd like to save space, go with hydroboost.

Don't want hydroboost, I want a clean install thus considering to lose the booster.

Cory, I went from power to manual because of a cam change and I would't go back for any reason. Much better feel with the manual. This was with all new components. Just changed to the smaller bore master and the firewall bracket to eliminate the booster.

linear feel and overall feeling of manuel...

Looks are subjective...but hydroboost is not as a clean install as I am wanting.

I have manual brakes and manual steering. Sometimes I miss power steering but I never miss power brakes.

I'd highly recommend hunting one down so you can feel it.

If you're intending to run without the booster, you'll have to do some clean up work on the firewall. Manual brakes use a 2 hole setup, power uses 4.

Good luck.

I used the Master Power Brakes bracket. Very simple and clean install.

What about leaving the power brakes and just going with a smaller booster. Thats what I did in my 77, I like it.
