Seatbelt override switch PLEASE HELP!
SEASON GREETINGS.
Well, I've just spent 2 weeks !!! sorting out some electrical probs
behind the dash now after getting everything back together I've found I've lost power to my dizzy
(I'm using the power from the seat belt override switch).
My question is (before I have to put my Chiropractor on a regular salary) is there a fuse for the seat belt override switch?????
Because she's been converted to right hand drive, It's almost impossible to get to the fuse box let alone read the labels on it.
Any HELP gratefully accepted.
She'a a '74 coupe 4-speed.
All the BEST for HOLIDAY season

Solved!!
Well the power is back !!! The seatbelt override switch (on mine at least) is wired to the fuse "GAUGES".
After removing half the dash I was able to check the fuses & found the "Gauges" one blown. Strange 'cause the gauges still worked!!! I also found heaps of "not connected" to anything/spare wires too.
Maybe Bubba has an Aussie cousin.
Now to find the "high pitched" whine (for lack of a better word) that I hear when I turn on the ignition
(it's not the HEI/radio).It seems to come from under the dash but so far I cant locate it.
Oh well, 1 step forward........23456789 back !!!
