Default Hughes Converters 355ci

I have been looking at these two converters, both are Hughes. Street Rod 2000-2200. And the Street Master 2200-2500. My 79 Vette is going to be a 355 400hp w/ auto and 355 gears. Also, I had a converter (in another car) that was "loose" under the stall speed you can drive at 2500rpm let your foot off the gas and the engine would go down and idle at 800 rpm while coasting, then give it some gas and the converter hooks up at 2500 and stays as long as you are above the 2500 stall? Anyone have any info?

The cam I want is a Lunati #07101 225/225 477/477 on a 108 lsa. Any thoughts on the cam?

My 79 vette has had 3000, 3500, and 3800 stall 9.5 inch very efficient TC's I was able to get very good MPG. with my 355 ci and 3.55 rear end. I would talk to Hughes about their GM35 and have it built to 3000 stall with your engine.

As to the cam. I have always preffered to go fast than to just sound fast. I've tended to use wider lobe centers and higher lifts to get the air flow.
