Default 1970 lower drivers side dash pad

I'm looking for a 70 dash pad. There are several 1969 lower dash pads for sale. Is the 70 and 69 lower drivers side pad the same?

I believe that 69-77 lower-left dash pads are the same.

The '70 dash pad has stitching and is not exactly the same as '69.

It is esthetically different from the 69 in stitch as mentioned. It also differs functionally and will not fit a 71 or later,(or vice versa), due to the long tip that meets the center console. The 71, and on,had that tip shortened, and actually fastens to the center console,(which is also different), via plastic clip. Eliminates that awful looking bend out at the tip of the 70's piece. Much improved design. Could be a late 70 to early 71 crossover, but I haven't seen one.
pics of a 70. Think Allen has a pic of the 71 setup.

It's interesting that the amount that was removed to "snub" the tip was added to the center console so all the angle/alignments are the same. In fact, in the thread you can clearly see the difference from the black int. vs the saddle int in that console area. The side extensions are the same on both though.
