rear end rubber snubber

can you replace the rear end rubber snubber on 1982 with out taking out the drive shaft?

You can on a '64. Just remove the bolt and pry it apart with a big screw driver, remove, and replace.

You don't have to remove the drive shaft, but pulling the 4 bolts at the differential make it a lot easier. Just pull those four and move the shaft up and out of the way.
