Default Rear end shuttering

the rear end on my 75 shutters/ jerks when you put the car in drive and slowly take your foot off the brake then stops once the car gets moving. any ideas as to whether its the u joints or half shafts or what?

Check all of the U-joints, also how is the rear end lube, perhaps it's time for a change!

rear end lube ummm probably from 1975 honestly. i havent had a chance to mess with the suspension ive been building motor transmission and brakes and forgot about rear end until the other day. how can i check the u joints?

Might also need some fresh GM P/N 1052358 LIMITED SLIP ADDITIVE. That fixed one of mine.

I agree with the other guys but also might want to check to make sure the brakes are not hanging up. Just a thought.Good luck.

All good suggestions. Most likely the posi additive is needed. Might as well change out the fluid at the same time. Good luck!

Yes add slip end bet you that takes care of it...add 2 did that to my old 65 told to add 2 bye the vette guys down here never had a problem after that...good luck
