Corvette Rubber, Good Company to order from???
I am planning on ordering a complete set of seals (door & T-Tops) from Corvette Rubber for my 1981. Does anyone have experience with this company?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I bought a set from a Chevy dealer via mailorder back in 98. They got the kits from corvette rubber in bulk and saved me $30 off the list price. I think the dealer was Willcox Chevrolet. Not sure of the city, contact info or if they still offer the discount.

Re: Corvette Rubber, Good Company to order from??? (VETJET)
When I was buying weatherstripping for my 1971 I did a little research into this area and found out that most weatherstripping/seals distributed by Zip, Corvette Central, Last Detail, etc. are made by Corvette Rubber. I phoned them to get prices and was a little surprised that they were more expensive than some of the distributors. Later I determined that they will generally not underprice their distributors (same goes for ACC carpets and their distributors). Check with The Last Detail (tld.com or something like that) out of Georgia and you'll probably get a better price. Quality of the materials are good.
Good luck.

Corvette Rubber is as good as any in material quality, price and delivery,...in my experience I did comparison shopping and found their mark up(Corvette Rubber) on the entire kit to be a few $'s less than the other major distributors, ZIP, Ecklers etc,.so I used Corvette Rubber for a total weatherstripping kit rebuild on my '63 SWC. I also have used Wilcox and Last Detail in Atlanta AC (770)-414-0077 for other parts (but not for weatherstripping) with good satisfaction as the other posts here have also indicated. Hope this helps,.. :chevy Save The Wave!!!

I found the prices and service great. I do think the door weatherstripping is a little thinner then stock replacement rubber but for the price it is good enough.

Try calling them at toll free # 1-888-216-9412,.sorry I don't have their website link address,.regular # is AC(616) 779-2888 and the fax # is 616-779-9833,.they use Origi Seal weatherstrip which is supposedly the best in the biz. Good luck and I'm sure they stock what you'll need Tom :chevy Save the Wave!!!

I ordered from them also. Awesome products. My car leaks, but that is because my windows are porrly aligned, and the weatherstripping needed some presuasion to fit my "moon roofs". If I had factory tops it probably would have gone on better. Also, I ordered the set that was advertised as an 8 peice set. To my suprise I had a bonus peice, the one that goes for the hood. I was happy with this little addition. Small as it may be, it still made me happy.

Do any of you know if this Corvette Rubber Co. actually manufactures these weatherstrips? Or, are they re-packaged products from one of the well known leaders, such as Metro etc.? Just wondering.

I visited their factory/warehouse back in '97 or '98. What I saw made me happy so I went back down the road to their offices and bought everything I needed for my '79. When I first went to the offices, I told the lady I wanted to see their facility.( I work in the auto industry) She thought I was nuts. :D
