Default ride height

Does someone have the ride height for a 1970 Corvette coupe, small block 4spd. I just changed a rear spring, and would like to get the ride height correct. Thanks all.

I don't know the answer, but I know someone here does . . . Do you have an AIM manual? Info is in there if you do.

Lots of posts on ride height in the forum, go searching. Important to let the spring settle for a while and a few cruises before obsessing over ride height.

Here you go.

You need to move the car around and bounce the suspension to assure it is settled into place before taking measurements. Z & D heights are the most accurate, as they pretty much aren't affected by non-OEM tire sizes.

Also,

NCRS site has some excellent info in technical discussion.

If it is not an original spring I hope it is by EATON. Those are the only two to get you to the proper ride height from what I have read.. Even EATON can require that you send it back to get recurved.

I also can say that the factory ride height was with a full tank of gas. That is how he factory did it.
