Door lock orientation question
This is a dumb question, but what is the correct orientation for the key in the door locks? Teeth up or teeth down? Bubba's been in my 71 and door locks are installed teeth up. My 71 AIM shows the key with the teeth down. I think the PO reversed the locks in the doors.

I just changed out the lock cylinders on my doors...and I'll be darned if I can figure out how they would function if turned upside down??? The pawl lever only goes on the cylinder one way and it has to be in the proper orientation for the lock plate pawl to engage with it. If you put them in upside down, the pawl lever would be pointing to the moon instead of where it needed to be.??
BTW....teeth down!
