Coolant will not return to rad from overflow tank
Coolant will go into the overflow tank but will not return to the radiator after car cools down. I have replaced all rad hoses, pressure cap, etc. Still, I've had to fill the radiator up and the overflow is full. Any ideas? I just flushed the system yesterday so will have to see if that helped the situation. Could have been too much air in the system....
Thanks

Always check the easystuff 1st make sure that the cap on your overflow tank is no craked, ckeck the hose inside the overflow tank , no clogs no craks and it raches to the bottom of the tank, check the hose from the tank to the rad insure the niple at the rad is not craked. Make sure you have the proper rad cap. That should be it. Remember you can not have any leakes at your rad or at your overflow tank if you do then the water will be replaced with air. Good luck

I'll agree. Sounds like a problem with either the cap on the rad or the cap on the tank. The radiator is sucking air in, instead of water. That leads me to lean toward the rad cap.

Well, how low does the radiator get? its normal for it to not be up to the top cold after its been run hot.

Have you checked to see if the hose in the overflow tank is attached to the cap? I had to fish mine out and put a hose clamp on it.
