Trip to the Keys!!
Today I went with my parents, my girlfriend and friends of my parents to the Florida Keys (of course with 2 cars)- actually "Key Largo" to make a "Glass Bottom" Boat tour to the Reef. I had my digital camera with me - so I want to share some of the photos!

Olivier...Great pics, thanks for sharing them. The Florida landscape is just as I remember it. Can't wait to get back there again.

It's been great here lately too (shorts only weather), but by August I'll be looking forward to the warmth of Florida as opposed to Winter here.
It's 10.00am here now and I have a full day ahead of me with working on the rear end of my Vette as well as some custom fibreglass work on a spare rear bumper cover. Looking forward to a beer or three at the end of it all too. :cheers:

Olivier- nice pics, looks like it was a fun trip. Maybe if Bob behaves himself I might let him sit in my Vette long enough to come down there for a Keys trip. :D

warmth??? I would call it heat :) :)
Ok- the temperature is only around 88 - 95 but the humidity is soooo high that it feels like well in the 100's... I love it!!! A few beers help to cool you down :cheers: :cheers:

Great pics. Been there--done that--a few times.
The Keys are my favorite place. My son lived there for several years. I think I have been to them all. Key West, Big Pine, Ramrod, No Name Key and all the others.
I am ready to go back now.....

The Keys are really awsome...and living only a little more than one hour from the Keys is really great too. Miami Beach - Key Largo - Miami Beach (160 miles roundtrip)

Should you visit again - let me know! Maybe we can organize a Vette convoy to the Keys!!

Great pictures and a BEAUTIFUL car.
I went a few weeks ago to Key West without the Vette, and really want to make the trip again WITH the Corvette. Might just go to Islamorada-(Tiki Bar and Whale Harbor seafood buffet) for the day. It is a fun ride in a regular vehicle, but it has to be twice as nice in a convertible or a T-top.
Great pictures and a BEAUTIFUL car.

In South Florida - we are in the 80's on most days since February... Spring has been awsome so far. Very little rain and lots of sun. I saw on the weather channel that it has been pretty warm up there too!

Nice pics, nice report!
Timely too, in my case. My wife & I are flying to Orlando a week from Monday, renting a Harley for 7 days, and riding that bad boy down US 1 to Key West. I was stationed there with the Navy in '67, loved the place and always wanted to go back. :cheers:

Been there done that also. Just talking about it last week. Looking forward to the Vettes in Paradise run in November to Islamorada. Good Tiki bar at Lorelei's. Then head down to Looe Key for snorkeling. AWESOME!!!! Some of the good things about living in Florida!!! :D
