Turn signal lever w/Cruise, trying to find
Can't find one for an 82. OEM has three-wire connector. Got an 84-89 lever form Ecklers but it only has two wire connector. If I do a search on vendor’s catalogs I only get a turn signal lever w/o Cruise.

I regret to inform you that GM has indeed discontinued that particular part. Please DO NOT think that this part is available if it is listed in any catalog. Most catalogs are months behind in factual data regarding availability. By the time 200+ pages are codified some price data has changed. Regretfully there is no OLE that functions across different media to allow automatic updates everywhere.
Also please note that the pdf file referenced is from a 1999 publishing date. I personally only know of 2 of these NOS levers and one may be spoken for. I always keep the last NOS sample should I ever need one.
I certainly would prefer that GM never discontinue a Corvette part because they just about always look, fit and function flawlessly. And generally the supply is steady, for a while. However, those decisions on the obsolescence are not under my control or purview.
When an outside vendor produces the part, GM issues them a form authorizing the vendor to sell the tooling for the scrap metal value and reimburse GM for some of that value if GM does indeed own that tooling. At one time over a decade ago, I had a friend at GM who would send me copies of those forms. In a few instances some folk have even purchased those tools that were sold for scrap metal. Today all the remaining obsolete tools are looked at as a source of licensing revenue by the external marketing agent that vends the GM restoration part licenses.

I have the same issue. My 82 that I bought 2 months ago has all the cruise components under the hood, but a turn signal lever without cruise buttons on it. I cannot find a lever with cruise controls anywhere. Anyone have any ideas? Is there someone that brokers used parts? Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

You might try Rik's Corvette Parts (1-888-RIKS-VET). Their catalog lists part #STE184 for '81-82 Turn Signal Lever w/Cruise.

What is wrong with that lever? Is the lever body actually broken? Or is it just a bad switch?
I'm not familiar with that particular lever but, unless the switch is actually molded into the lever body {which would be unusual}, some careful disassembly should yield the switch detail. And, normally, GM would not make a special switch detail for a specific model/year; they would use a 'common' switch design and install it in a 'specific' lever. If that's the case, you could probably get a junked switch lever from any '81 GM full or mid-sized car and remove the switch from that one and stick it in your lever. Just a possible alternative to repair yours, if the lever body is still intact.

Mine was really loose at the mounting boss on the column. I couldn't find one eiter. I just pulled the knurled shaft out of the boss, mixed up some JB Weld and reinserted the shaft. Let 'er dry overnight and solid as a rock now. You can actually use it as a turn signal lever now!
