Default 91 Camaro Z/28 V8 T5

I'm thinking about buying a t5 from a 91 Camaro Z/28. This is from a v8, 13-52-066-936 R3 which I believe is a world class. It comes with the Camaro bellhousing which is at a tilt.

Has anyone done this with their c3? I'm wondering how it's going to fit and what fabrication I may need.

I'm also wondering if I'm better off using a GM bellhousing like the one that came with the vettes with Muncie 4 speed transmissions. How does that change things? make them easier?

Thanks

One other thing. Can someone tell me how to confirm that this was from a v8 and not just put behind a V8 by someone else. I.E. really originally from a v6?

I was looking at: http://www.britishv8.org/Articles/Bo...T5-ID-Tags.htm

But there is a question mark there.

Please help. I want to make sure this was a v8 WC T5

26 spline with the shifter in the correct position will be a V8 trans.
WC is indicated by a machined cap on the countershaft hole with printing stamped on it.

Their should also be dog tag, maybe that is what Gary meant? You can then plug the serial number in here from the dog tag. http://www.5speeds.com/t5/

Looking at another one. The guys said "its kinda rusty. i will try to get #'s off it.....you can tell by the input shaft. its fine spline. 6 bangers are course".

What does this mean? V8 is fine spline, v6 are course? So is fine 26?

V8 are 26 spline, V6 are 14, Fords are 10.
I think some S10s were 26 spline but had a forward shifter location.

So these guys with the t5's are telling me they are 26 spline. So that means these are definitely from a V*. Do I have that right?

Update on this.

I'm going to buy a clutch pedal assembly, flywheel, 621 chevy bell housing, etc and a WC T-5 from a Camaro Z/28. So since the Bell Housing is a 621, the trans will be sitting at an angle so I'll need a custom trans mount right? Anyone done this? Any tips? Also, I think my drive shaft is going to need to be shortend because I have a TH400 today. Right?
Thanks
