Need help-rear spoiler install
I am in need of some help please.
I bought a used '78 Pace car spoiler. I have a '78 non-pace car. How does the spoiler attach?
The spoiler has the studs on the bottom of it, but how do I attach it to the car? Do I need to remove the rear bumper/light assembly or do I install the nuts from the inside of the car? Do I need to also install double sided tape or any other items to make it fit properly?
HELP!!!
I am at a total loss here. I am not a bodyman and the guy that is going to paint it hasn't installed one before. I am starting to wonder if it is even worth it now.
Any pics or hints would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Lance

Lance - here is some info from Willcox website HERE.
It is a matter of drilling 6 holes across the top and one on each side. I think it can be done without removing anything. I'll send pictures of the holes on my 78 and measurements hole to hole. You can also use the spoiler to make a template.

Drill holes and install nuts from underneath car. You can lay under the car and reach up between the gas tank and rear bumper to install the nuts.
A helper will come in handy.
Hard part is locating the spots to drill the holes.
no tape or glue needed
