Default Engine guys Valve springs question?

Have have just recieved a pair of Brodix race rite BBc heads.
I asked Brodix to assemble them to suit solid flat tapped cam( Isky Z33)
The specs of the installed springs are
150lbs on the seat
365lbs open

Isky recommends 135 lbs on the seat, 395lbs open.

Is 150lbs on the seat too much ? will it affect cam life ?

Cheers

You will be fine. Springs loose pounds with heat cycles. Solid lifter do not have pressure limitations like hydro lifters

If you haven't broken in your cam yet, make sure to remove the inner springs until you do.
Once that's done you should be fine running what Brodix sent to you.
As Gkull mentioned, they will lose a bit of spring pressure after they have been run for a while.

Good advice from Driveshaft. Light springs to break in flat tappet cams. I am more concerned with the max pres of your springs. If they settle in to 350lb or so at full lift, you might not have enough valve control over 6000rpms to keep the lifters on your 7000 rpm cam. 350lbs vs 400lbs is quite a difference. It sounds like you may need dif springs. I'd call Isky and double check with them.
If you have titanium retainers and good rockers you might be OK. (The BBC has a heavy valvetrain.)
Are they making Titanium pushrods yet?

Cam is broken in, just swapped of the small chamber iron heads so can run pump gas.
