Does this filter ever need to be changed? I cannot find any anything telling me if or when the filter needs to be replaced. I do see in Corvette Central they show a Correct GM filter and a Replacement filter. One has the crome band, the other one does not. Double the price difference too.

its cheap and a good idea .it keeps the gasses from the motor from damaging the seals in the brake booster.
