Default Trivia of the Day-1979/80

What production change took place very late in the 1979 model year and was continued into 1980? It is widely despised.

Sorry Pete! Too easy I guess. For the Newbies, what does this speedo tell you?

Also, what regular production option (RPO) was an "option" on 1979? But not in 1980?

Did the 1979 Corvette have an Air Injector Reaction (AIR) or smog pump system?

What is this? What year did it appear? What did it replace? And why?

Replacing this kit is one of the most miserable jobs in a C3 beyond the heater core in an A/C car. What is this job?

Mr Kotter, Mr Kotter!!! I know! Replacing the trailing arm [bushings]! LOL

I did my 73 up on my brother's lift. It was actually a pleasurable job! Not perfect, but a million times better than doing it laying on my back! Him having all the tools helps a lot, too. Joe

These are non-OEM Corvette parts. Where are they used? They have a particular function that is non-OEM. What is that?
