Default Compression Test with TI

Need to run a compression test and have the original TI. Can I pull the coil/dist cap wire and crank the motor like I would on a car without TI? I know very little about TI and don't want to damage anything.

I read the chassis service manual and there are no special instructions for TI.

Good deal, thank you

Can I test compression on a cold motor? Does it have to be up to operating temp? Chassis service manual states 150psi per cylinder.

yes, you can, you will be more concerned with variation between cylinders.
