Default distributor recommendation 69.

my original dist is toast.looking at upgrading to hei.noticed some on ebay for under a hundred.

Just remember that your '69 tach is cable driven from the distributor. If you swap to HEI you'll either need to get one that's been retrofitted with a tach drive cable output or you'll need to switch out your tach for a '75 or up electronic tach. HEI has many benefits and I think you'll like it a lot.

The E Bay distributor is cheap and actually a good piece...just make sure the tach drive is on it...and then get a new set of 8MM wires from your local parts store to fit the Vette...A set for a 75 will work

Get a AAA towing plan for as far as you intend to drive your Vette for when the Chinese electronic module gives up the ghost when your out for a drive.

I would run a Pertronix module inside stock Delco tach drive myself.

Thats all I buy and they have never broke down on me, so just because your against money saving chinese parts doesn't make them junk.

yes,i had a crane module in my original distributor.i tried to rebuild it and cracked the housing trying to press out the bushings.

Rebuild your original tach drive distributor. Add the Pertronix.
