Advice for stripped bolt - pedal box support bolt in wiper tray
Yep. I managed to strip one of the worst possible bolts to strip. It's the upper inboard bolt in the wiper tray.
I'm thinking about cutting the head off with a dremel, but that'll be slow going.
Any other ideas?
The threads of the bolt have stripped, not the head.
Went at it with a dremel for 5 million years. It's out. Looks like at least one of the captive nuts in the pedal box is effed.
Oh well, gotta get some inserts and new bolts tomorrow morning.

I can see he painted yours as well. I was going to paint mine black, as I have a surplus of black bolts, but I think I'm going to go with gray or silver to more closely match the stock "steel" (or steel & rust).
God, I really couldn't imagine trying to keep nuts from spinning on that damn thing.
