Non Leather Stock Interior on a 77
It is so weird to not have leather interior in my 77.
Every 77 c3 that I see in a car show, is leather.
My interior is stock but a fake suede type (not sure what to call it).
Leather looks so much nicer, but in the winter this material is not that cold.
Should I keep it stock or go for the leather?
Thanks

Are you saying that all of your seats are a cloth material?.... My '77 has leather on the sides and bolsters on the seat cushion, and on the seat back , for ease of siding in and out of the seat. And a cloth insert on the seat and seat back to hold one in to the seat with out sliding around. And if I rember correctly it was a no-cost option called the "Heritage Seats"....

What's the code on your trim tag? Leather was standard on the 77s; cloth was a no cost buyer's choice.

The code on your trim tag will tell you whether the car had leather or cloth. Leather usually has a three character numeric code; the code for cloth usually has two numbers and a C.
"Optional" usually means you paid extra for it. "Choice" meant you could select between A or B and it would not cost anything additional. Cloth upholstery was a choice on the 77s.
