Default TPI swap: Upper rad hose?

I tried a 1990 Corvette upper rad hose, that's not gonna fit.
What are people using for an upper rad hose?

I dunno what you have there, and so I have to say, you need to mix and match hoses like I did, with using a brass plumbing length of drain fixture from Lowes Despot.....and a couple extra clamps....

you will have to do what I did....find a piece of hose and a t-stat housing that faces the correct way you need route your hose....that all depends on your accessory drives...so to route hose correctly, and extend length with some fittings....it maybe cost you 30 bux, but it's done....

I was hoping to avoid mixing and matching, if possible

Rad

Intake

Both

1990 Corvette hose, over top. Right size (with a trim on the intake side) if my rad had a straight outlet.

Steel braided would do the job and if you don't like the chrome look you could always wrap it with something.

When I did my swap I used a 10* adjustable t stat housing, and the stock upper hose that had to be cut in the middle and shortened.

Street & Performance has the only one that fits under the throttle body!!!
I tried 3 until this one!

I've got a TPI MiniRam managed by an OBD1 ECU. The chip was setup during a dyno session for max performance.

I originally had the TPI setup from a 89 vette. The MiniRam was a nice upgrade from 3000 RPM upto 6000. Below 3000, they are about the same.

I've been watching this thread because I might put my old TPI on my C3.

For future ref:
If your rad outlet is straight, 1990 Corvette Upper rad hose.
If it's curved, like mine, Goodyear 52020
