I just put on 100 miles with my new AFR 195's, Team G 7530 SP intake and Holley Street HP 650 DP. Cam is CC Magnum 280 FT. WOW!!!! The car literally throws me back in the seat like never before! Car is running great with the Team G. There are other options other than Edelbrock intakes that work just fine. Btw, glad I popped the extra few hundred bucks for the AFR's. Great piece of workmanship.

with 85,000 miles I'd atleast do a compression/leak down test on it before sticking a cam in. if the rings arn't in that good of shape you could go through the bottom end and change heads while your at it. if the cylinders pressures are in a decent range, then you could change the cam, possible heads.

there will be some gains with the intake, how much is noticeable I wouldn't figure alot. matching the cam to the compression ratio, rear gear and stall converter would be a noticeable difference. match that to a new set of good flowing heads and intake even better.
