did i buy the wrong heat gasket for my carb?
i just noticed i may have ordered the wrong gasket for my setup.
im having some hard start issues after running the car for a while, and i think im boiling off the gas in carb, so i just ordered a heat shield/gasket.
i have an edelbrock 2101 performer (spread bore) and a holley spread bore carb. i ordered an edelbrock 9266 gasket, which appears to be a square bore.
*ya, its the wrong one. summit, jegs, and amazon dont mention that its for the large spread bolt holes only, or that its for the square bore only. and stupid me thought they had it set up to fit a spread bore, since this is the only option the offered.
